The media has told me
The seniors have told me
The fairytales have told me
That pretty girls require pretty parts.

Pretty girls are thin like a twig
With hair made out of gold or black diamonds
With lips that stole a rose's color
And voices that sing a lover's song.

But I believe there is something missing
There should've been a warning
For those girls who want to be pretty
They've should've included the side effects.

Some pretty girls, if lucky
Contain a personality that is sweet
They're as sweet as honey
But they're not too sweet like a bucket of candy.

But those who are unlucky
Use their beauty as an advantage
To get love and return fake love
They are witches impersonating princesses.

Where is the true beauty of women?
To men, it is the looks
But some of those men may end up loving
A pretty girl who'll turn them into a frog.

I am unsure if I'm a pretty girl
I am not thin, and my hair is plain
But many say I am as sweet as honey
Have I unwillingly become one?
This is a poem I'm planning to summit to the Dream Quest One Poetry and Writing Contest. It's just a simple free-verse poem.
I highly doubt I'll win, but whatever! Just entering for the heck of it! :>
I'm just going to summit one entry, because to me summited over 10 entries for one contest just shows how desperate you are at winning. :T
btw when I do win the contest I'll probably delete this so that they don't think I stole this and put it back on when the contest is over. But if I'm lucky, they'll read the description right here if I forget to.

If this is horrid literature, you made me a fan of it.
