I think Karate Man is suppose to be the mascot of Rhythm Heaven, since his game has appeared in the GBA, DS, and will in the upcoming Wii game. Or maybe it's that white dog. Either way, his game is my second favorite!

Karate Man is probably going to be in the next super Smash Bros game, since he got that new move in RH Wii.
MDS ft. SoRa (DaisukiRAP) should also be in there since they have lots of moves and could be pretty funny opponents.
Although what I really wanna see is the TAP STARS as a boss!!!! SO TALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The dog is the original mascot, but each game's characters all count as mascots i think.
